Treatment Coordinator, Assistant
I welcome new patients into our office and assist Dr. Ormiston during procedures. It has been a pleasure to work at this practice for the past 25 years, knowing that the work we do makes such a difference in our patients’ lives and self-confidence. I have been working with Dr. Ormiston since he joined the practice in 2002. I love seeing the happy smiles of patients at the end of their orthodontic journey!
I grew up in Montana and have lived in Puyallup for 25 years with my husband Tom, our two daughters Tara and Erin, and our two kitties Timmy and Harley. I love my family and friends, the Seahawks, Mariners, and Sounders, gardening, animals, and volunteering my time to help others.
I work on the financial end of our patients’ treatment: I draw up financial contracts and coordinate insurance billing. I understand that orthodontics is an investment, and I work hard to come up with a solution that can fit into a patient’s budget. I am so proud to be a member of this team! Dr. Ormiston creates beautiful smiles and each and every team member goes above and beyond to make each patient’s experience in our office a great one.
I am married to my best friend Mark, and have raised two sons and have four grandchildren. I like to spend as much time as possible with my awesome family and I am blessed that they all live locally. I also enjoy watching and going to Mariner baseball games, reading, and gardening.
I can usually be found assisting Dr. Ormiston during patient procedures or helping out at the front office. My favorite part of my job is seeing our patients get excited about the changes they’ve gone through and anxious to get their braces off. Seeing their new, beautiful smiles is the best part of my day! Another great thing about working here is that it’s really more than just work; we’re a family. We make each day fun for ourselves and our patients.
I grew up in Sumner and now live in Puyallup with my longtime boyfriend and our son, Theon. I enjoy food, especially trying out new restaurants, and spending time with our family and friends.
I have been in orthodontics for more than 30 years and consider myself lucky to have spent the majority of that time here with Dr. Ormiston. Not only do I assist him with procedures, but I also make sure our office is fully stocked and organize our marketing materials. Our office is on the cutting edge of technology, which allows us to deliver the best options in a caring and safe environment. I love working as a team to exceed the expectations of our patients. A beautiful smile and happy parents and patients are truly my reward!
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and whatever four-legged kids we have. I love the holidays, celebrating, and all the decorating and cooking that goes along with it! As a cancer survivor I look forward to the opportunity to train a therapy dog to support others.
Clinical Assistant and Sterilization Assistant
I joined Dr. Perry’s orthodontic team in 2010, but I feel like I’ve been part of the office’s family for far longer. I am a second-generation staff member; my mother is Betty Ann! I remember all the wonderful things she would say about Dr. Ormiston and her patients, and was so happy to finally be a part of it! Seeing the progress our patients make and the smiles they achieve really is wonderful!
I am a graduate of Puyallup High School and Pierce College, where I was a member of the fast-pitch softball team. I still love playing sports and being outside. I have a cat named Griffey and I love spending time with friends and family!
I have 17 years of orthodontic experience and have worked with Dr. Ormiston since 2009. While my job mostly involves scheduling appointments, what I really try to do is make all families and patients feel welcome and like they have a second home at Dr. Ormiston’s office. I enjoy creating great smiles with Dr. Ormiston and my team members in a fun, safe, and healthy environment with people I respect and trust.
I have been married to Chris for 31 years. We have a son, daughter-in-law, and a grandson I adore, and a Norwegian Elkhound named Shelby. I once lived on a 40-foot custom-built wooden trawler named the Eulogy and currently live on the Green River. I love to travel, cook, read, and drive my classic ’68 Cadillac convertible.
