Meet Dr. Perry Ormiston

Education and Experience
Dr. Ormiston has been providing high-caliber orthodontic treatment since 2003. He was raised in Spokane, Washington, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University. He went on to receive the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), graduating with top honors, from the University of Southern California. He then completed his graduate residency in Orthodontics at the University of Washington, where he received his orthodontic certificate and Master of Science degree. He has since published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington.
Dr. Ormiston is committed to providing his patients with the highest level of care by continuing his education to perfect his craft. He earned his board certification in orthodontics by the American Board of Orthodontics in 2007, and was recertified in 2013. In addition to being a Kois Center Certified Specialist, he is a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. He is focused on the latest advances in orthodontics, including Invisalign, TADS, digital imaging and intraoral scanning.

Outside the Office
Dr. Ormiston was married in 1992 to his wonderful wife, Amy. They have lived in Puyallup for over 15 years and have two daughters who attend school in the Puyallup School District. He is an active contributor to community, church and school activities, enjoys skiing and hiking, and loves to cheer his girls on the soccer fields and basketball courts!
